LoadBearing is a business operating system provided by Asset Enterprise LLC, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The Starter tier is free; Pro is a paid subscription ($39/month or $390/year), billed through Stripe. You may cancel anytime; your subscription remains active through the end of the paid period.
LoadBearing is local-first: your business data lives in your own device's browser storage. We do not upload, sell, or share your business data. Use the in-app Export to back it up — if you clear your browser storage without a backup, your data is gone and we cannot recover it.
LoadBearing, its name, logo, copy, graphics, user interface, workflows, and underlying software are the exclusive property of Asset Enterprise LLC (IP holding entity to be confirmed with counsel) and are protected by copyright, trademark, trade-secret, and other intellectual-property laws. Patent protection is being evaluated with counsel.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app to run your own business. You may NOT:
Nothing in these terms transfers any intellectual-property right to you. Feedback and suggestions you send us may be used freely without obligation to you.
Use the app lawfully and for your own legitimate business. You are responsible for the accuracy of your estimates, invoices, and customer communications. LoadBearing is a tool — your contracts, pricing, and compliance with licensing, tax, and labor law remain your responsibility.
The app is provided "as is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, and we are not liable for business decisions you make using it, or for data loss if you fail to keep backups.
